Let's Go for a Walk

On Thursday, Sept. 4, the same night Sen. John McCain will accept the Republican Party's presidential nomination, the massive Labor 2008 program continues when thousands of union members will gather together in key battleground states at more than 150 Labor 2008 walks. We will be talking with union members about John McCain’s positions on the economy, jobs, trade, Social Security, education and more. We all know that John McCain’s policies will hurt working families, and we simply can’t afford another four years of business as usual in Washington, D.C.

Mark your calendars for Sept. 4, and get ready to lace up your walking shoes for an evening of walking and talking with fellow union members. What will you be doing on Sept. 4? Will you join us for a walk?

Here are some videos of union members talking about why they are walking on Sept. 4.
