Philadelphia Labor 2006
Hundreds of volunteers gave a few hours of their time to go door to door to talk to union members about the upcoming elections. Each volunteer had their own reasons for being there, from concerns about the skyrocketing cost of health care to worries about Social Security and jobs being shipped overseas. No matter what their reason, each volunteer knew that by participating in the Labor 2006 program, they were making a difference for their community, their state and our country.
