Pennsylvania has more than 120,000 more jobs today than when Gov. Rendell took offi ce and has its highest employment level ever. Gov. Rendell has invested $15 million in the Incumbent Worker Training Program and $20 million in Job Ready PA to improve workers’ skills. Rendell Making Minimum Wage Increase an Election-Year Priority.
Gov. Rendell proposed raising the minimum wage from $5.15 an hour to $7.15, eff ectively giving a raise to more than 254,000 Pennsylvania workers. (Philadelphia Daily News, 6/21/06; Centre Daily Times, 4/7/06)

Rendell Met Demand for Health Care Workers.
