Fights for Decent Wages.
John Cranley co-sponsored a living wage ordinance so “jobs funded by the city will be good jobs.” He signed a pledge to increase the minimum wage “to reward the dignity of work and help build the middle class.” (Cincinnati Enquirer, 11/24/02; Cranley press release, 7/31/06)

Will Protect Seniors.
John Cranley believes Congress “needs to be on the side of seniors, not against them.” He “will push to buy drugs in bulk to save taxpayer money.” (Cranley press release, 3/15/06, 3/27/06)

Protects Our Retirement Security.

Ignores Medicare’s Flaws.
Steve Chabot voted against negotiating lower prices for prescription drugs, against easing requirements for importation of drugs from Canada and against allowing Medicaid to supplement Medicare coverage for the low-income elderly and people with disabilities. (H.R. 1, Vote #668, 11/21/03)

Threatened Social Security.
