Missouri Needs A Raise

The minimum wage in Missouri is currently the same as the federal minimum wage: $5.15 an hour.  But on May 7, 2006, the “Give Missourians a Raise” coalition turned in 210,000 signatures to the Missouri secretary of state. A measure to raise the minimum wage to $6.50 in Missouri will appear on the ballot in November.
