JOYCE SCHULTE  WILL FIGHT FOR WORKING FAMILIES

Supports Affordable Higher Education. Joyce Schulte will work hard to ensure adequate education funding and “will strive to increase Pell grants and other forms of financial aid and student assistance to make the dream of higher education a reality for all who wish it.” (Des Moines Register, 5/19/06; www.schulteforcongress.com)

Opposes Unfair Trade Agreements. “I will work for fair trade. I am pro-worker and will work to strengthen the worker first.” (State Democratic Convention speech, Des Moines, 6/17/06)
