Senate Overtime Pay Vote—January 20, 2004

This was a vote to end debate on H.R. 2673—an appropriations bill for the federal government. Overtime pay protections—blocking the Bush overtime pay take-away—were stripped from this bill last year. The AFL-CIO considers a vote in favor of ending debate on this measure a Wrong vote since it should be amended to protect overtime pay.
