Beginning in 2011 in Tunisia, workers and citizens throughout the Middle East have made dramatic changes in their countries. The AFL-CIO supports workers and independent trade unions as they take part in popular mobilizations against corrupt, oppressive regimes in Tunisia, Egypt, Bahrain and throughout the Middle East and North Africa.
