Vectors for Hope Fly-In Supports Flights for Health

If you are in Houston this Saturday and have an interest in vintage aircraft or just a desire to help people with serious illnesses get the treatment they need, a group of National Air Traffic Controllers Association (NATCA) members in the Houston area have devised a unique event you should check out.

Vectors for Hope—founded by the NATCA members—has organized it first-ever charity fly-in for Saturday, Sept. 28, at David Wayne Hooks Airport. All proceeds will benefit organizations that provide free air transportation to treatment facilities for patients with life-threatening illnesses—Angel Flight South Central, the Houston Ground Angels and Around the World for Life.

Eternity in O'Hare, or Romney’s ‘Permanently Delayed’ Aviation Plan

This week, after an overwhelming number of the 650 flight attendants at the airline signed union authorization cards, they filed a petition with the National Mediation Board (NMB) for representation with the Transport Workers (TWU).
