New Working-Class Studies, edited by Youngstown State University (YSU) professors John Russo and Sherry Lee Linkon, calls for a reconsideration of the ways in which class and work intersect in the 21st century economy. WEBSIGHTING
 
The International Federation of Chemical, Energy, Mine and General Workers' Unions (ICEM) just unveiled its new website, www.icem.org. The site builds on it the ICEM’s wealth of materials and documents current ICEM projects and campaigns, such as contract and agency labor, HIV/AIDS relief, gender discrimination and global union networks. In the archives, you can access all ICEM news releases, newsletters and other ICEM documents and information from past events. The site also provides information in seven languages—English, French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Swedish and Russian. The ICEM, based in Brussels, Belgium, has 420 affiliated trade unions in 125 countries, including several AFL-CIO affiliates.
