Brothers and sisters, this message is powerful: JOBS NOT CUTS!

America has a choice! Our leaders can choose JOBS!

When you go into the U.S. Capitol and say, JOBS NOT CUTS, you’ll speak for regular working people all across our country, and every single working family out there who works hard for their hopes and dreams, for their future.  Every one of them. And for everyone who wants to work but can’t find a job too!

All we want is a chance to make those dreams come true, with hard work, and by playing by the rules.

It’s a good idea. And it’s beautiful. It’s called the American Dream! And that’s why we want JOBS NOT CUTS!

The opponents of working people are always coming up with technical terms to scare good people into accepting bad ideas, ideas like sequestration.

Let me tell you something. Sequestration is nothing but a word. Nothing but a long word with a simple purpose, and that’s to hide a bad idea! That we can cut our way to a prosperous future.

Let me tell you the truth: The American people want and need our public services. We need public education for our children, we need clean water, healthy food and safe cities. We need our public highways, our airports and waterways.

And the American people are tired of downgrading the American Dream. Remember that old phrase that a rising tide lifts all boats? John F. Kennedy said that back in the 1960s, and it’s true. And the opposite is true, too. An outgoing tide leaves everybody high and dry.

And that’s why we want JOBS NOT CUTS!

Look at you, you’re incredible! You’re powerful! You make the difference.

Thank you for what you are and what you do. This is our country! Working people wake America up every day and make it run. We put it to bed at night. We answer when it calls. We do what it takes, no matter what the cost, brothers and sisters. We have come too far to be turned back now. We won't back up. We won't back down. We won't be turned aside. Because we know how to win. We know how to last. And we will not be denied!
