(Washington, DC, September 8, 2014) – Expanding on the national campaign that introduced America to the Koch Sisters, an all-new television ad “Almost Evil” begins running today.

The new ad comes as the Senate is slated to debate the minimum wage this week. With Mitch McConnell leading the way, politicians bankrolled by the Koch Brothers are sure to do their bidding by standing in the way of raising wages. McConnell himself was recently caught on tape at a Koch Brothers funded event touting that if he were majority leader the Senate would not “be debating all these gosh darn proposals” like raising the minimum wage.

At their core, the Koch Sisters are about supporting the middle class and standing for the values of working families. The minimum wage is an issue important to millions of people in America and raising it is a fundamental issue for the Koch Sisters. Today’s ad builds on a multifaceted campaign that will continue to introduce creative and inspiring approaches to bring issues most Americans care about to the forefront of the political debate.

“Almost Evil” :30

KAREN:
I think it’s deplorable that the Koch Brothers would want to take away minimum wage.

JOYCE:
I think they got better things to do with their time than worry about the minimum wage.

KAREN:
It irritates the crap out of me that I would have to listen to somebody that has billions of dollars determine what the lowest-paid person could possibly make.

JOYCE:
That’s a misuse of wealth and power and I really think it’s almost evil.
