Despite President Donald Trump's promise to provide "insurance for everybody" that is "much less expensive and much better" with "much lower deductibles," his administration has greatly cut back the government’s efforts to let people know about getting coverage through the federal or state marketplaces before open enrollment ends Jan. 31.

The administration suddenly ended all outreach and advertising about open enrollment on Thursday, though it appeared to restart some outreach through e-mails and Twitter on Friday.
