Pa. and N.H. Union Members Tell Ryan: Hands Off Medicare
This morning in Carnegie, Pa., union activists and allies were on hand to greet Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan to protest his and Mitt Romney’s plan to end Medicare as we know it and shower even more tax breaks on the wealthy and corporations, with working families footing the bill.
Allegheny County Labor Council President Jack Shea (below) says Romney and Ryan’s tax plan and trade policies would ship even more American jobs overseas.
Yesterday in Nashua, N.H. (see video below), working family activists rallied outside a joint appearance by Romney and Ryan. Nashua, you may recall, is the same town where Romney made his infamous “I like being able to fire people” remark in January.
