Watch Online for Free: MAKERS PBS Documentary Highlights Contribution of Women Workers

Just in case you missed the PBS documentary everyone is talking about, "MAKERS: Women Who Make America," you can still watch the three-hour special for free online here

The documentary covers major milestones in the women's movement, including women entering the workforce and breaking gender roles. One highlight is the story of the flight attendants, who fought for better workplace conditions and the right to work past age 30. 

Karen Nussbaum, co-founder and executive director of Working America, was also featured in the special. Nussbaum talked about the successes and failures of the women's movement, organizing on the job and pop-culture moments like the movie "9 to 5" and Dolly Parton's famous song of the same name.
