Union Members @Work: Collaboration

As we continue this week’s launch of the AFL-CIO’s new online hub @Work, today we are spotlighting “Collaboration,” one of the seven featured categories of the new site.

Collaboration @Work highlights the story of Christian, who got involved with an Austin, Texas, worker center, the Workers Defense Project (WDP), after his father died on a construction job. WDP has since teamed up with the Texas State Building and Construction Trades Council to improve conditions in the industry across the state, and Christian is a devoted member advocating for workplace safety.

Union members are continuously forming these types of partnerships and working to improve the lives of working people everywhere. Click here to read more about Christian’s Story.
