Steven Rush New Helicopter Pilots President

Steven Rush was elected president of the Professional Helicopter Pilots Association International (PHPA), at the union’s annual meeting in Dallas Feb. 12. He is a founding member of the PHPA which, was established in 2002 and represents approximately 3,000 helicopter pilots throughout the United States and Canada.

Rush began is flying career in the U.S. Army in 1970 and has worked as a civilian flight instructor for the Army for 32 years. He succeeds Capt. Butch Grafton, who has served as PHPA president since its establishment in 2002.

PHPA is a council of the Office and Professional Employees (OPEIU).
