Rose Ann: Woman of Steel

Rose Ann Rhodes, a steelworker, Marine Corps veteran and mother of five, talks about her career at Elliott Group in Jeannette, Pa., and what it means to be a woman of steel.

“For me, [it] is a sisterhood and a brotherhood. If you lack confidence, it will definitely give you confidence. If you didn’t think you mattered or your voice or your opinion mattered, it will show you that it does matter,” Rhodes says in this video from the United Steelworkers (USW).
