In our regular weekly feature, we'll be taking a look at the winners and losers of the week in the struggle for the rights of working families. The winners will be the persons or organizations that go above and beyond to expand or protect the rights of working families, while the losers will be whoever went above and beyond to limit or deny those rights.

Winner: Elizabeth Warren, after giving a fiery and much-talked-about speech at the AFL-CIO's Raising Wages Summit.

Runners-Up: 300 Wisconsin businesses, for speaking out against potential "right to work" legislation in their state.

Losers: Republicans in Congress, who didn't waste any time in going after Social Security and health care in the new session.

Runners-UpWalmart and McDonald's, after the National Labor Relations Board admonished the companies for retaliating against workers who were trying to organize.
