New Season of 'Brotherhood Outdoors' Kicks Off
The fifth season of the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance’s (USA's) “Brotherhood Outdoors,” a unique hunting and fishing series that showcases the talents and passions of union members, kicks off at 11 a.m. EDT Sundays, starting July 7, on the Sportsman Channel. Encore airings will be broadcast on Tuesdays at 3 p.m. and Thursdays at 6:30 p.m.
Each week, viewers will get an intimate glimpse into the lives of these union members, their passion for the outdoors and their desire to make a difference by volunteering for a cause, serving as a leader in their community or helping to carry on America’s outdoor legacy.
The new season kicks off with Mike Kraning, a sheet metal worker and member of International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers (SMART) from Kenosha, Wis. He stalks big Texas elk.
Co-hosted by Daniel Lee Martin and Julie McQueen, the new season spotlights eight hardworking union sportsmen as they chase their lifelong goals or continue living out their passion in pursuit of a mixed bag of big game, turkey and both fresh and saltwater fish.
As part of a "Brotherhood Outdoors" Watch & Win promotion, viewers who tune in to the first three episodes of the new season and correctly answer questions posted on the show website (www.brotherhoodoutdoors.tv/contest) will get a chance to join Daniel Lee and Julie for a once-in-a-lifetime Russian boar hunt in Tennessee’s scenic Cumberland Mountains with the weapon of their choice.
Presented by Bank of Labor, "Brotherhood Outdoors" is also sponsored by the following unions, contractors and corporate partners: Carhartt, Employee Benefit Systems, Machinists (IAM). SMART, Boilermakers (IBB), Electrical Workers (IBEW), National Electrical Contractors Association, ULLICO and Plumbers and Pipe Fitters (UA).
