Today the efforts of Massachusetts’ working people sent a real leader to the U.S. Senate. Ed Markey will be a strong and capable partner for Elizabeth Warren in the fight to restore a fair economy and a strong middle class. Markey’s experience in Congress and his deep commitment to improving the lives of Massachusetts men and women will help both Democrats and Republicans tackle the most pressing issues facing the Senate today, from job creation and tax fairness to immigration reform.
