More than 700 children and their families hunted for eggs and chatted with the Easter Bunny at the Monroe/Lenawee County AFL-CIO Central Labor Council and the United Way of Monroe County's sixth annual community Easter egg hunt at Munson Park last Saturday.

The labor council and United Way partnered with Monroe Community Opportunity Program (MCOP) and Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeast Michigan to host the fifth annual Mobile Food Pantry following the egg hunt. Food collected was available in the mobile food pantry after the Easter egg hunt to help those Monroe County families in need of supplemental food.
