Hey, Folks. You Just Got Labor Day All Wrong
Those of us who spent Labor Day thanking people for their hard work and reflecting on the contributions of the labor movement got the point of the day all wrong.
Fortunately, Republican House Majority Leader Eric Cantor was on Twitter to set us right.
His stroke of genius?
Today, we celebrate those who have taken a risk, worked hard, built a business and earned their own success.
Dang, here we are celebrating employees when all along, according to Cantor, we should be celebrating employers.
This comes as no surprise, considering the Republicans just adopted a national platform that doesn't even acknowledge the right to organize .
