The Economic Policy Institute’s (EPI) Robert Scott has issued a report on the early results of the U.S.-Korea trade agreement (often called KORUS).  It’s not good for U.S. workers, who have already lost about 40,000 jobs because of the increasing trade deficit with Korea.

Only 2.5 Percent of Small Businesses Affected by Expiration of Bush Tax Cuts for Top Marginal Rates

Republicans pride themselves of being the champions of small business owners. But it’s helpful to clarify what actually is their definition of a small business.

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP) released a report that shows only 2.5 percent of small business owners would be affected by allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire on the wealthiest taxpayers (top two marginal tax rates).

Bill Clinton did it again. The former president traveled to Milwaukee today, where he joined Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett in support of Barrett's bid for Wisconsin governor. By all accounts, Clinton hit another one out of the park as he discussed why voters needed to recall Gov. Scott Walker in the June 5 election.

Bill Clinton will join Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett this morning in support of Barrett's challenge to Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.

In a statement, former President Clinton said:

Bill Clinton: Unions Are ‘America’s Employment Bankers’

Former President Bill Clinton yesterday singled out the efforts of the union movement in creating massive numbers of jobs through union pension fund investments. Speaking yesterday at the annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), Clinton praised the AFL-CIO and AFT for already providing $1 billion in pension fund investments to improve infrastructure and increase energy efficiency.
