The hard work of union members created Labor Day, and we think it’s about time union members @Work took full credit. We need more Americans to grasp the impact of your skilled labor. Communications Workers of America (CWA) has reached two new tentative agreements with AT&T divisions with some 40,000 CWA members.   

Details of a tentative four-year agreement are being sent to CWA members who work for AT&T Mobility in 36 states and the District of Columbia. The workers are customer service representatives, technicians and retail store workers. Also, the union announced a tentative agreement with AT&T West with about 18,000 CWA members at AT&T operations in California and Nevada.

The 22,000 Communications Workers of America (CWA) members employed at AT&T West will soon vote on a new contract after a tentative agreement was reached late last month. The workers are employed at AT&T operations in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas and Missouri.

Workers in Mississippi and Brooklyn, N.Y., and registered nurses in West Virginia and Ohio scored big recently when they won a voice at work with the Communications Workers of America (CWA) and National Nurses United (NNU).

The Communications Workers of America (CWA) and AT&T agreed to continue contract talks for some 40,000 workers in four AT&T divisions after their contracts expired Sunday. CWA members at AT&T Midwest, AT&T West, AT&T Legacy and AT&T East have authorized strikes if fair contracts cannot be reached.

Members of the Communications Workers of America (CWA) District 6 have ratified a new four-year agreement with AT&T Mobility. The pact covers more than 9,000 workers in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas and will bring 2,000 jobs back from overseas and other outsourced facilities.

T-Mobile will close seven U.S. call centers with some 3,300 workers, a decision the Communications Workers of America (CWA) says “harms workers and communities.”
