Tell Congress: Don’t Outsource Amtrak Jobs

What is it with Republicans in Congress and outsourcing jobs?

We know Mitt Romney loves to outsource jobs (not to mention raise taxes on the middle class).

Now, House Republicans are using bait-and-switch tactics to lure the public into believing that by outsourcing Amtrak jobs, they will reduce government waste. In reality, notes the AFL-CIO Transportation Trades Department (TTD):

these lawmakers will hurt transportation safety while taking your tax dollars and subsidizing corporations.

Walker Turns Wisconsin Into Job Loss Leader

So much for Gov. Scott Walker’s (R) stewardship of the Wisconsin economy and his promise that eliminating collective bargaining rights for public employees and massive budget cuts would turn the Badger State into a job growth miracle. A report today from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) shows that Wisconsin is the only state in the nation to suffer “statistically significant” job loss during the 12 months from March 2011 to March 2012.

Pennsylvania’s Corbett Refuses to Fight to Save Thousands of Refinery Jobs

When working people come together in political action and successfully fight to elect lawmakers who back working families, they are at least guaranteed someone who will listen to their concerns. But in too many cases corporate money has propelled politicians like Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett to office where they turn a deaf ear to working people.
