Digital Strategies Training Modules and Resources

#1u Digital is a training program intended to give you the skills to be awesome at digital technologies and platforms, equipping the labor movement and our allies with cutting-edge techniques and best practices in digital advocacy. Spearheaded by the AFL-CIO Digital Strategies Department, it’s open to anyone in the labor movement (and our friends!) who wants to organize and advocate for workers online with excellence.

Why Digital? (June 2014)

  • If you’ve heard about “social media” or “e-activism” but aren’t sure what all that means, this is the training for you. We’ll go over why digital is worth the investment of time and resources for labor organizations, how it can support your work and how to make time for it in the midst of your busy schedule.
